Frosty Oak Broodmares

Diamonds and Pearls "Jillian"

1991 16.3 hand Thoroughbred mare, chestnut with a star. Jillian was used an as upper level jumper in her youth. She was then bred to Argus for two years, her first foal Blue is a master of hounds. She was then donated to a rescue as her rider had made the move to Grand Prix. Jillian was trained by Katie Prudent and Norman Del Joio. She is an amazing mare with a super temperament and great athleticism. Jillian foaled April 7th 2005. FrostyOak Elliott is a chestnut filly. This foal will be a top jumper prospect.  Inquire if you are interested in purchasing Elliott $3,500.

Concrete Angel "Willow"

1992 15.1 hand Thoroughbred mare, dark bay. Willow was also adopted through a rescue agency. She was used as a hunter horse before looking for a home as a broodmare. Willow is talented on the flat and over fences. When not being bred she will be used as my mount for showing over fences. Willow foaled May 2004 with a large bay filly by Halcyon Sir Lancelot, shown on the offspring page. She is bred back to Lance and leased out to my vet, that foal will be for sale also.

I Wood "Tristan"

1991 16.2 hand Thoroughbred mare, solid blood bay. Tristan came to us in 2002 and foaled an amazing filly by Rambler's Richard Lionheart in 2003.  She then foaled a colt by Forbes Native Statesman. Both Tristan's foals were sold within the year of their birth, a show of her ability to pass on fine offspring. Tristan is a big boned mare with a lovely trot and a disposition you cannot beat. She is well bred and raced for 5 years, retiring without blemishes. An asset to our breeding program. Tristan gave birth to twins on April 18th, missed by our vet. She will be bred to Tregoyd William next month.

Tudo Joia
1988, 16.0 hand TB mare, jet black with a star and hind socks. This mare is one of the most well put together mares I've seen. Exquisite movement under saddle and a proven show mare. Her foals will be knockouts. Joia has given us three lovely foals. Her first foal Atlantis was born 2001, unfortunately he is no longer with us. In 2002 she foaled an amazing colt FrostyOak Joia's Alegre who resides in FL.  Her last filly was born Sept 2003 and will be kept as a show mount and future for Frosty Oak Stables. Very sadly Joia passed away Jan 9, 2004 and will be missed greatly.

My Kelly Sue
1981, 16.0 hand TB mare, dark chestnut with flaxen mane/tail, a blaze and hind sock. By Keelo she has produced two foals for me (though she's had at least 4 others). She produced All Eyez On Me in 98 when bred to the Cleveland Bay Rambler's Richard Lionheart and Guess Who's Back in 99 when bred to the Welsh Pony Halcyon Sir Lancelot. This mare passes on her looks and superb disposition. All foals have been exceptional jumpers. Lines include Keelo, Eight Thirty, Princequillo, and Man O' War.
